Monks are martial warriors who have retreated within themselves as a path to mastery of their being, and in doing so have unlocked the latent energies present in their own souls. Using the discipline of the fighting arts to achieve a state of zen in battle that allows them to tap into the mystical life force they call Chi, empowering their attacks and defences. Most Monks have taken a vow of some sort in order to show devotion to their code and to further advance their iron will on the path to enlightenment, following their own way rather than that of a God.

Basics:

Medicine Adept

Survival Adept

Chi = Wisdom

Unarmed Defence (May block weapons with hands when wearing fighting gloves)

Starts with 4 Chi powers

Special Abilities:

Free: Iron Body – When unarmoured you gain a number of resists per watch based on your Wisdom score. (1-6 Wis = 1 Resist | 7-9 Wis = 2 Resist | 10-12 Wis = 3 Resist)

6xp: Stunning Fist – Once per encounter you may call Stun on a successful melee hit

6xp: Purity of Form – Once per watch you may heal yourself or an ally for an amount of HP equal to ½ of your Wisdom score.

6xp: Purity of Self – Once per encounter you may resist any magical attack.

6xp: Quivering Palm – Once per watch you may call Death upon a successful melee strike.
